Sewing Accomplishments: November 25th, 2015

On my sewing day this week, I did some Christmas sewing ... as in 'magic Christmas pillow cases' for my grandchildren kind of sewing.

The theory is that when the little ones sleep on their 'magic pillow case' on Christmas Eve night, that they will go fast asleep!

It's a nice thought ... at any rate though, these pillowcases are super cute and were made with lots of love by their grandmommie.

    1. Ann, I saw that JoAnn's has their flannel on sale for 75% off, that's a really good sale. I purchased Christmas pajama's for my grandchildren this year as the two youngest still wear foot pajamas.

  4. Those are so cute! My children have enjoyed getting pillowcases as gifts at various times over the years and have always enjoyed them.

  5. I love your pillowcases! I'm planning on making some pillowcases for my 2 nephews who are in grade 12 this year. On the end band, I was going to embroider some funny quote or saying about sleeping/dreaming so it looks a bit more "cool" for their age group. I'm hoping they like it as this is such a hard age group to buy or make things for. They don't get excited about anything unless it costs a lot of money!

  6. I love these! I'm going to try and hit up the after Christmas clearance sales and get some fabric to make these for next year for the grandkids. :)
