$5 or Less Pantry Challenge: May 28th, 2016

We had some errands to run in town today so I gathered up my coupons and CVS Extracare Bucks and off we went ... here's what we scored at CVS (and Sam's Club) for less than $5!!!

Total out of pocket for everything shown was $2.13 (this total includes taxes)!

In addition, we earned $2.50 in Extracare Bucks that we can use on our next CVS shopping trip.

(The two travel size toothpastes came from a kiosk at Sam's Club ... they were free!)

  1. Nice work as always Patsy! My $5 spend this week was on firestarters which were reduced to -50c a packet of 24. A great bargain! Mimi xxx

  2. A couple weeks ago there was a sale on a particular brand of BBQ sauce for $1.99, and of which there were coupons out for $2off. I wasn't the only one with the coupons, because I couldn't find it anywhere! I finally asked the store for a rain check as I knew I wouldn't have time to get back in when the next shipment arrived. This week I took the rain check and 2 coupons in for 2 free bottles of BBQ sauce, plus I bought an extra bottle. I paid a grand total of $1.97 for the three bottles!

I also grabbed 2 bags of perogies for the freezer that were on sale 2 for $3. Each bag should be good for at least 2-3 easy meals!
