$5 or Less Pantry Challenge: June 18th, 2016

Hurricane season has officially started in our part of the country so my $5 or less pantry challenge purchase this week was made with that in mind ...

See what I got for less than $5 ...

... matches!

(You can order them from Amazon but they are less expensive at Walmart, which is where I purchased these.)

Each package of two was $2.44 which made the total purchase $4.88 before taxes!

Never think that small amounts of money can't be used to help stock your pantry!

What have you added to your pantry for $5 or less this week?

  1. LOL Patsi I added matches too! I went to Walmart and worked a deal. I had 2 $5 Enfamil formula coupons. I found 2 cans of formula on clearance for $3 a can so that gave $2 overage on each can so I turned my $5 into $9 and got the 2 cans of formula, a bottle of lamp oil, 2 wicks and 3 boxes of matches. I got the single boxes. You can definitely add to the pantry with $5!

  2. I took advantage of the sale on blueberries at Aldi's. I got four pints at .99 each. Planning on going today and see if they have more. Paula in Kansas
