Christmas Challenge: Toddler Quilt #1

I am making a concentrated effort to get as many gifts as I can made and completed before the holiday gift giving season arrives.

On my gift giving list this year is toddler quilts for all three of my grandchildren. I've been diligently working on them snatching a few minutes here and a few minutes there and have gotten one ready to be quilted.

Here's toddler quilt top #1  ... (this one is for my grandson)

and here it is in the hoop and ready to start hand quilting on ....

I also have toddler quilt top #2 almost completed and it's for one of my granddaughters!  Pictures of it will be forthcoming as soon as I get it finished.

Are you thinking ahead to the gift giving season?
Are you making any gifts?  Care to share what you're creating?

  1. Beautiful work Patsy! As you know I am a big believer in gift making. There is no need for Christmas to be a financial strain. We jus have to work on it all year. Your quilts will be cherished heirlooms! Better than anything that could be bought! xxx

    1. Thank you Annabel, I've enjoyed stitching them up bit by bit.

  2. Love the quilt top. I needed some new hot pads for my kitchen and then made several for Christmas gifts. I do stockings for all the girls and ladies in our family and santa bags for the all the guys. Some of the guys hinted for hunting socks:)
    Have a great weekend

    1. Sue, I like the idea of santa bags for the guys and stockings for the girls! Hot pads are a good idea too!
