Weekend Assignment: 9/29/2016

It's time for our weekend assignment ...

So ... here you go ...

When was the last time you checked your supply of light bulbs?

Yes, you read that right ... light bulbs!

When a bulb blows are you left sitting in the dark or can you go to the part of your pantry where you keep them stored and get a replacement?

How about it, how's your supply of light bulbs?

A Working Pantry is more than just about food! It's about household items needed to keep my home running smoothly readily available when needed.  It's about keeping a gift trunk so that I'm ready for any gift giving occasion.  It's about a lifestyle.  It's about keeping my home and looking well to the ways of my household and it's about doing it all as frugally as possible.  I hope you enjoy what you read here.

  1. I have a good supply of light bulbs. We got plenty of the old style lightbulbs while Lowe's still had them when the new ones came out. But do you have a good supply of batteries and how about night light bulbs? Seems our night light bulbs all burn out at the same time. And what about the new night lights that don't require a bulb?

  3. I have plenty of light bulbs but I need kerosene for the lamps in the house (now it is on the "to do" list). I need a new flashlight for the house and need to check the car (now this is on the "to do" list).

    1. I found two unused flashlights in the battery box. One is going in the car and the other upstairs where I can grab it. One thing off of the "to do" list.

  4. We could use more bulbs I think and I will check on it.
And about your post last week about band aids, we had some but needed more. So I got more at Dollar Tree. I'm very thankful for that store.
    Have a good weekend friend.
