Countdown to Christmas ... 12/6th - 11th/2016

Today has been a quiet day on our journey to Christmas ...

The only Christmas thing we did was ...

listen to Christmas music ...

Some days are just that simple and it is nice!

Update: we are in a season of listening to Christmas music, looking at the lighted houses and yard decor when we're out and about in the evenings and receiving Christmas cards.  We're about to kick into a higher gear as far as Christmas activities go but for now we are enjoying the simple things about the season.

What did you do today on your journey to Christmas?

A Working Pantry is more than just about food! It's about household items needed to keep my home running smoothly readily available when needed.  It's about keeping a gift trunk so that I'm ready for any gift giving occasion.  It's about a lifestyle.  It's about keeping my home and looking well to the ways of my household and it's about doing it all as frugally as possible.  I hope you enjoy what you read here.

  1. Hubby had his two month post up surgical review today and came away feeling like he was actually healing. This helped us on our Christmas journey

  2. The only Christmassy thing I did today was some Christmas mail to family and friends. It was too hot to do anything else. LOL!

  3. Wrapped some presents while listening to Christmas music. Got 3 cards in the mail. Went out to eat and on the way home drove around looking at all the beautiful lights. Using the Christmas tree lights as the only light in the living room at night. I love just looking at our tree. The kids did their advent calendars.
