The Best Books ... Learning About Essential Oils in 100 Days

I'm on day 18 of my 100 day challenge of learning about essential oils and am learning so much.  I have read lots of things online as well as looked at several books.  I can usually tell by thumbing through a book if it is a good fit for my style of learning.  I'm not into anything really technical and deep but I do want something that gets to the point and tells me about essential oils.  I have found that in the following two books ...

Modern Essentials: A Contemporary Guide to the Therapeutic use of Essential Oils (8th edition)

The Essential Life - 3rd edition

They give you the oil and some possible uses, including medical, for each.  They also give you ailments and some oils that might be able to help.

  1. As a kinesiologist I rely mostly on my testing but my go to resource is the Hopewell Oils . com website because of the actual testimonials of success with use of particular oils and very helpful articles and the ability to research health issues. This resource is free for anyone. Hopewell also has a closed Facebook page that you can join which is essentially a forum. I find the website to be much more helpful than the Facebook page.
