Interrupting My Blogging Break to Ask a Question ...

I just finished teaching the 2nd Disaster Preparedness class in a closed group setting.  I've had several to contact me with comments of wanting to take the class but not being on Facebook, so I'm posing a question ...

Is there enough interest for me to do the class here on the blog?  The class is written and has been taught 2 times so it wouldn't require a lot of extra work for me.

Are you interested in me doing the class here on the blog?  If so, let me know your thoughts in the comments below.  The class would run approximately 3 - 4 weeks and the starting date would be within the next couple of weeks.

To read what others have said about the class, go HERE.

It's up to you ....

One more thing: Many of you have expressed concern for my husband's injury, thank you. He goes to see an othopedic doctor this up coming week so we should have a better idea of what our next step will be.

  4. Patsy, thats a very good idea. I find people are getting more wary of FB nowadays and some folk just don't want another social network medium , other than what they already have as it becomes a time eater. I only have e-mail and FB, but my OH has FB, Int*gr$m, Tw%tt$r, Sn%pch"t any anything else thats going and he's always on it, then complains about there not being enough hours in the day.

  8. I would be interested as I am not on FB... and don't want to be! Thanks for doing this! I've already learned so much from you. I was in southern Missouri last week and they have just gone through devastating flooding. It was sad to see homes swept off foundations, and notice that water lines had gone above windows. Everything in homes was outside by the street for trash removal: mattresses, clothing, furniture, belongings, even washers, dryers, fridges, etc. Everything was ruined. They even have to remove dry wall and insulation--take the houses down to the studs and scoop out wet muck. It would be devastating. I don't know how one could prepare for an unexpected flood, but maybe you know...

    1. Joy, this is the very thing that happened to our area after Hurricane Matthew last fall. Seeing all the devastation made me realize I needed to do what I could to help people prepare for such an event. Words really do not do justice to what can happen and often does, can they? I hope the class will be helpful to you.
