My 100 Day Sewing Challenge ... #4

I'm all the way up to day 11 out of 100!   I'm really burning it up, aren't I????  Really, I'm doing just fine and am satisfied with my progress.  This was never meant to be something to rush through.  I'm intentionally working for short periods of time when I have time and I'm fine with it ... it's working for me and I'm enjoying my sewing time!

So, what did I get done in the 3 days I was able to sew this last week ...

I stitched up the second pillowcase and started crocheting a simple edging on it.

I also cut out fabrics for 2 different zippered pouches.  (The bottom pieces are the outside and the top pieces are the lining. The small rectangle is for the zipper ends.)  All supplies came from the sewing part of my pantry, including the zippers!  I buy them on sale or in bulk from HERE.

What about you, what did you get stitched up this week?

  1. The only thing I did was to resew the seams on my daughter's skirt. It was very cheaply made. We bought it at a thrift shop. But she loves it.
Hoping to put an elastic waist into the bottom of a dress that had a worn out bodice and make it a skirt.
    Be blessed!

  4. I finished the baby quilt -it arrived at its destination today. I mended a pair of shorts for hubby. I am now working on repairs for a quilt I made for my oldest son when he was a boy (twin sized transportation quilt). It was well used but I am restoring it for my oldest son's oldest some who will be going into a big boy bed soon.

Again, I'm so grateful for this challenge! I'm up to day 19, but have missed a few because of this week's VBS.
