Our First Working Pantry Online Class!

Update:  1/13/2017 ... This class is now full and closed to adding new members.  To learn of future classes subscribe to A Working Pantry blog on the sidebar, which is where posts and notifications will be made.

One of the goals I have for 2017 is to do some online classes utilizing the ‘now closed but soon to be opened’ Working Pantry Facebook group.  The group will remain open for the duration of the class and then will be closed again with all members/students being removed when the class is completed.  Each new class will have ample sign-up time before the class starts.
Our First Working Pantry Class is on disaster preparedness and will begin on February 1st. This is a one month class and will run the entire month of February.

Here's a discription of the class ...
As many of you know, the area we live in was hit hard by Hurricane Matthew in October 2016.  (We personally received very little damage, but others around us were not so lucky.) The goal for this class is to take you through the different things we experienced as if you were there, as if it were happening to you … to test your preparedness for a sudden unexpected natural disaster.  Maybe you don’t live in hurricane country, if not just substitute whatever natural disaster that your area is prone to in its place.  Many of the things we experienced would be applicable to other natural disasters as well.
