Hello 2018! January's Goals/'To-do' list!

(Picture: Time to put away the Christmas decor and welcome in the new year!)

In yesterday’s post I shared an overview of my goals for 2018.  I also told you that at the beginning of each month I would post a detailed ‘to-do’ list for that month that would help me baby step my way to accomplishing those goals by the end of the year.  As promised, here’s January’s ‘to-do’ list!

  1. Those are great goals! I think I should do a monthly accountability goal post too... thanks for sharing! xx

    1. Joy, I find I accomplish more if I break my goals down into doable parts and give accountability!

  2. Goodness me, Patsy. I am exhausted just reading your list. All the best with getting it done.

    1. Thank you Nanna Chel, I'm aiming for big things this year and my 'to-do' list reflects that!!!

  3. Wow! Very ambitious goals! What do you use for your daily Bible reading plan?

    1. Cheri, I use one of the read through your Bible in a year schedules that are available online for free. Many Bibles have such a schedule included in front or back of the Bible. I'm currently reading in the Old Testament. For my more indepth Bible studying I'm doing verse maping, one verse at a time. I'm loving it!

  4. Wowza! That's a lot for a "slow month!"

    1. MamaHen, Here's hoping I get it all done!!

  5. I love this idea! I think I will do this as well! Thank you for the idea, Patsi!

    1. You are welcome Jenn! I do much better if I have a plan!

  6. I love hearing about your goals. So inspiring! I have several small goals for today, so need to get going on them!

    1. Becky, I hope you got everything accomplished that you wanted to today!

  7. I love your spiritual goals Pasty...I failed to list mine. Maybe we can help each other through our no spend/low spend month. Have a wonderful day!

  8. I have my 2018 goals listed and I'm excited to be starting a new year. Patsy, I just wanted to share this with you. If you buy a gift card to use later, be sure to save your receipt. My cousin gave me one in Sept. 2016 to use (from Wal-Mart). Since I was unable to get out much, I saved it to use until Dec. 2017. It showed up invalid, I had the receipt that she gave me with it and showed it to the cashier. She said, "WM only keeps them in the system for one year if there is not any activity on the card it deletes it out of the system". Now, I could not find that policy listed anywhere on their website. Since I had my receipt she honored it. I had never heard of that happening before. Usually I use mine within a year though. Just thought I'd past this along. Happy New Year. Cindy

    1. Cindy, thank you for that tip! I usually keep my receipt with the card but I'll make sure that I do now!

  9. Etsy is where I sell my handmade goods. Check them out. They are inexpensive and easy to use. I've had a really good experience so far. I've been using them for about a year and a half selling my Advent and other countdown calendars.

    1. Please let us know what you decide so we can shop your store! Good Luck Patsy!
