My 100 Day Sewing Challenge: #31

I did it!  This week I completed my 100 Day Sewing Challenge!  I've enjoyed this challenge and have gotten a lot accomplished.  There's most likely another 100 Day Sewing Challenge in my future simply because it's a good way to be accountable, stay motivated and get sewing projects done!

Here's how I finished out the challenge ...

I stitched up these pillowcases and am in the process of adding them to my shop,                      Pillowcases by Patsi!
Two of each!  I also have several more pillowcases cut out and ready to stitch!

Want to know what my next challenge is?  It's of a sewing nature too, but more specific and it's something I've been wanting to learn how to do for a long time.

This one will be a 30 day challenge instead of 100 days ...

The rules are the same though ...
work at least 15 minutes each day until the 30 days are up ...
the days do not have to be consecutive days.

So what is my next challenge ...

I purchased this book over a year ago used, I did not pay anywhere near the prices listed.  I paid less than $20 for it and the book is in excellent condition!

Next week you'll see my first attempts at learning this skill ... wish me luck!!!

  2. Dear Patsy,
I'm not sure I've seen shadow work embroidery, but I do like embroidery in general so I'll be cheering you on.
I need to get back to sewing. Paper crafts have been taking up most of my time, but I have some things that I need to sew for Colton. Two pairs of old cowboy style pants, a western shirt, and a vest are on the list. I also need to dig into my mending pile, and I want to sew a few new skirts for myself. Maybe a sewing challenge is in my future lol. I have a lot to do now that I look at my list!
    Love, Kelsey

  3. Patsy you have done so well on your 100 day sewing challenge and sticking to it :).

I love the large roses pillowcases you made as I simply love a splash of colour in the home as it brightens up any space instantly.

Good luck with the shadow embroidery I am sure you will learn a new skill and do it beautifully.
