Countdown to Christmas ... 12/01/2016

Can you believe it’s the first day of December????

The older I get the faster time seems to go!!!!

It's time to get out our Christmas puzzle.  We've yet to get it all put together, maybe this will be the year!

I'm watching A Charlie Brown Christmas as I type up this post!!!  Charlie Brown is so dramatic at times!

I had to go be retested for allergies today and listened to Christmas songs going and coming! (Good news, the 4 shots I get every week are working!!!  Yeah!!!)

I spent some time after I got home perusing Pinterest looking for Christmas gift wrapping ideas.  I was not disappointed!

And I listened to these …

This Hollens Family Christmas  CD is definitely going on my Christmas wish list!

Speaking of my Christmas wish list I’m asking for gift cards to JoAnn’s Fabrics.  I would love to have enough for a good shopping spree after Christmas!!!   Santa, are you listening????

That’s how I enjoyed our journey to Christmas today, how about you?  What did you do?  What’s on your Christmas wish list?

  1. Our two year old granddaughter who looks exactly like me was here today. We showed her a Christmas picture of me at two in front of the Christmas tree on a tricycle. 'That's me!', she said. We could not convince her that is was me. So fun!

  4. An Air conditioning unit is on my wishlist. It is so HOT!!!!!! Oh well we just have to battle on and get through the heat.
My daughter and I went to purchase some extra bits to add to our anorexic plastic tree. It still looks pretty sad but will have to do.

  5. I am catching up. Yesterday I put up the Christmas tree and decorated it. Today my Granddaughter came over and she said "ooohhh!" and really liked it and touched everything but removed nothing. My tree has birds on it. She liked those too and had to point to each bird a lot of times!
I remember how much I loved the tree when I was little. Putting the angel on the top was the best of all.
I have been wrapping and started some mailing. Progress anyway.
Have a wonderful weekend. With love Annabel.xxx

  7. What a nice week! I am putting up our decorations this weekend while it will be cold and blustery here so I'll get to hibernate indoors.

The only items on my Christmas list this year are new slippers and a sewing machine.

    1. Karla, what kind of sewing machine is on your Christmas list? I would love to have a new machine too, one that does embroidery as well as sewing but that's a bit much for the Santa in my life. But that's okay, the one I have works perfectly fine and I am blessed to have it!
