What I'm Reading: 1/23/2018

I've got three books on my reading table right now ... and I'm enjoying everyone of them!!!

First, we're still doing The Long Winterby Laura Ingalls Wilder in our book study.   I highly recommend 'studying' this book, not just reading it.  It is full of tidbits and lessons that we can learn.

Next, I continue to enjoy Powerless, The Year The Lights Went Out by Suzanne Goldring.   This is another book that is full of tidbits and lessons that we can learn.  I'm taking my time and really studying this book as I go, as I want to glean as much from it as possible.
The new 'from my book shelves' book that I've pulled to read is Vertical Vegetables and Fruit, Creative Gardening Techniques for Growing up in Small Spaces by Rhonda Massingham Hart.  It's the time of year in our area that we start thinking and planning out our gardens.   This year I want to try some vertical gardening so now's the time to plan and research the idea.

That's what I'm reading, what about you?

  1. Dear Patsy,
Now that I am finished with my knitting projects, I can use some of my spare moments to reach my reading goal! In fact, I'm going to do that as soon as I hit "publish". :)
    'Powerless' looks very interesting, too.
    Love, Kelsey

    1. Kelsey, Powerless is very good ... in my opinion!
