April 2018 Goals/To-Do List!

I knew March was going to be busy but it surpassed even what I thought!!!  And, since our busy season is upon us I’m changing my  goals/‘to-do’ list for this month up a bit.  In addition, some of the things I’ve been carrying over from month to month and not finishing will be removed and brought back later in the year when things slow down.

  1. Hello Patsy and everyone :). I love that you keep thinking of more sources of secondary income as it all helps in all of our homes.

    This months goals are -

    Financial -
    - Continue to bank as much as we can into our home deposit account.
    - Add any money I earn from internet sales to our bank account to reduce the debt on the pantry stocking budget from earlier in the year.

    Gardening -
    - Plough manure into the last vegetable garden and set up the drip irrigation systems back on the beds.
    - As the weather gets cooler plant garlic, parsley, broad beans, early Massey and snow peas, more carrots and beetroot seeds in the gardens.
    - Trim basil and rosemary plants and if I get time dry some for home and sale on the internet as they are growing profusely.
    - Trim back sweet potato vines growing onto the front lawn and footpath.
    - Prune the rose bushes right back and put more mulch around the base of them.
    - Mulch around seedlings that are large enough in garden bed no 1.
    - Supplement water newly planted seeds in the gardens between scheduled town watering's until established.
    - If time before rental inspection trim hot shot canna lilies and native lillies and transplant into new garden bed we have prepared and amend and replant other 2 garden flower garden beds. We are preparing to propagate and get ready to take some of these with us when we buy our home to cut down on landscape plant garden purchases.

    Home organisation -
    - Deep clean room by room for our rental inspection expected this month. We have started and done the kitchen already apart from the oven in there.

    Sewing -
    - If time try and make some more 5 layer luxury cotton eye masks for my shop and finish the hankies I have cut out from upcycled white fabric from old bed pillows.

    Internet shop -
    - Continue to take advantage of free listing promotions on eBay and list items gradually that aren't listed.
    - List any seeds or dried herbs we manage to do during the month for extra income.

    Groceries -
    - Look out for and purchase any specials or clearance items on items on our grocery list in the middle of the month.

    Spiritual -
    - Continue to study BOM and bible and learn more from the how to website online.

Have a wonderful month ahead everyone :).
