Making a Strawberry Barrel: Part 1

Here's a pictorial of how my husband is making us a strawberry barrel …

He started with a 55 gallon food grade plastic barrel ...

he cut the top out of the barrel leaving the rim intact, marked where he wanted to put the openings and then drilled a hole in each end of the markings ….

looking at the inside of the barrel you can see all the holes he drilled.

next he cut each marking from drilled hole to drilled hole …

using a heat gun and a piece of 2 x 4 lumber, he formed each opening where the strawberry plants will be planted.

continued in part 2 …

A Working Pantry

She looketh well to the ways of her household … Proverbs 31:27

My pantry is intentional, purposeful, simple, practical, frugal and what works for my family.  It’s the food items and household supplies that keep my household running smoothly ready and available when they are needed.  It’s my contribution to our family’s economy and my work-from-home ‘job.'
