Weekly Goals: 4/22/2019

(The first strawberries of the season from our strawberry barrel.)
It’s the beginning of a new week and time for our 'Just One Goal' check-in …
What was your goal for last week?
Did you meet it? Tell us if you did or didn't, we get encouragement both ways.
My last 'just one goal' was to start planting the 'warm weather' seeds and plants such as tomatoes, squash, cucumbers, peppers, etc.   I've been quite sick for most of the week, but before I came down with a nasty virus I did get some tomatoes in the ground, some squash and a few peppers.  It wasn't all I had planned to get planted but it was a start!

My goal for this week is to get back to planting those 'warm weather' plants and seeds!
What about you, how are you doing with your 'just one goal?'
What is your 'one' goal for this week?

  1. You did really well Patsy getting some seeds planted with a nasty virus :) and I hope you are feeling better.

Our goal last week was to cut up the no good wood for contruction from the grapeyard vineyard and put it in the leanto shed. I am pleased to say we got that done and cut the last post above the tap too.

This week's goal is to continue offering service to the RSL club sub branch in the lead up and on Anzac Day on Thursday.

Today DH and a couple of other ex servicmen set up all the tables, chairs, and repaired and put up gazebos for the Anzac Day. Myself and an ex service lady deep cleaned the inside of the RSL sub branch and it now sparkles.

More to do leading up to Thursday.

Have a great week ahead everyone :).

    1. Lorna, yes, I am feeling better, thank you. I had to look up what Anzac Day was, I hope you have a really great week and that all goes well.

  2. Raked out floral and hosta beds around the entire house. Completed as I can only rake for short spans due being asthmatic and allergic to the mold spores in dead leaves. This week if no rain I will do the areas around the hilltop ofthe house area. If rain, then wipe down basement wall and reweather proof. They say water proofing lasts 30 years, snd this house was built in 1948. No water or moisture, but want to stay a step ahead.

This week my husband needs to install a screen door for my Mom. It is her birthday gift from us. I am hoping this goes off without problems.

I am glad to see that you are feeling better.
