(I HAD to get these peas preserved before Hurricane Dorian comes calling later in the week!!!)
Recently we were able to purchase 2 1/2 bushels of purple hull peas at a fairly decent price. I shared in this post about how we got them shelled! We really did have a good time!
Once we got the peas back to my house I dumped them into the kitchen sink and gave them a good wash.
