A Different Routine, Woodstove and Bible Study!

It's been a long time since we've had to get children up and out the door to school.  This morning we did just that with the twins; I'm happy to report that everything went well and we managed to get them to school on time.

After we got them to school I came home and took a nap!  Yes, I did … I didn't sleep very well because I was afraid I would oversleep and not get them to school on time!!!

After I got up from my 2 hour nap I started studying the lesson I would be teaching in our church's ladies Bible class tonight.  I spent a couple of hours studying and then it was time to start getting ready to go pick the twins up from school.  They are with us again tonight so we'll be getting them to school again in the morning.  They have been so helpful and cooperative, it has been a joy to have them here.

Our weather has been cold for our area and we have been enjoying the heat from our woodstove.  In my opinion, heat from a woodstove is just a warmer heat.  The twins are enjoying it too!

I haven't gotten a lot of sewing or pantry related things done this week, but I like to think that the things we have done were the more important.  I'll get back to 'my normal' after the twins go home, which as of right now, will be tomorrow.

Our high temp today was 50 degrees but the wind chill made it feel colder!

I hope you've had a great day!

  2. Sounds like you had a good time, I'm still waiting to be a grandma. I would love a wood stove, just sitting and reading would be nice.

P.S. Every time I see your pantry pics they remind me of an old grocery store.
