A Quiet Day ...

We deliberately decided to have a slow, quiet day today.  Every once in a while we do that and today was one of those days!

About mid-day I slipped on a jacket (it was warmer today, but still cool) and went to the greenhouse.  I soon learned that I did not need a jacket in the greenhouse, it was 90 degrees inside!

I did a quick check on everything and watered the seedlings, then it was time to get out of there.  A jacket and 90 degrees do not go together.

Before I left I snapped this picture of my lemon blossoms, there were a few more opened up today...

Then I went and checked on the peas growing in the container garden ...

They are about 1 - 2 inches high and look good.  The plan is for them to grow up the wire cages which will make for easy harvesting.  The white pipe is part of our watering system.

The chickens were next and after I took care of them I headed back inside where we finished off the leftover chili and crackers that I had a bowl of yesterday.

I didn't receive any questions to answer this week which is why there is a journal entry today instead of the "Let's Talk Saturday" feature.  I'm still working on the answer for the essential oil question, it had several parts.  If you have questions you would like me to answer, send it to me via the comments section.  I won't publish them but will answer them in a post on Saturday.

That's it for today, our high temperature was 54 degrees.

I hope everyone has had a great day!  I'll meet you back here Monday night with another journal entry.
