Four Pictures to Share!

I continue to drink in the beauty of these roses!

I filled this 'half-barrel' planter with herbs today ...

Summer Savory
Thyme
Holy Basil
Russian Tarragon
French Tarragon
Sweet Marjoram
and the onions are multiplying onions (I buried the seed heads in the soil)

This hen is 'setting' a whole bunch of eggs.  It won't be much longer before we'll be hearing the 'peeps' of baby chicks!

These rose cuttings were given to me by a friend and neighbor in the community.  Look at the tips of the rose petals, I've not seen roses like this before.  They are delicate, feminine and beautiful!  I'm going to try to root these cuttings!

One more thing:  as many of you have probably heard the feedburner option of receiving blog posts is going away in July.  This means that if you're subscribed to this blog through feedburner (on the sidebar) you will no longer receive blog posts in your inbox after July.

As of right now you can receive A Working Pantry blog posts via

Bloglovin (signup in the sidebar) ...

Please consider joining one of these options.

  1. Your roses are so beautiful! I hope the cuttings root too, they are lovely. Hope your chicks hatch soon; baby chicks are so cute. Will your grands be able to see them?
Hope you have a good week.

    1. Kathy, thank you! Our grands will have to see the baby chicks via pictures and videos ... but it's better than nothing.
