Fitness Friday: 12/3/21

It’s time for us to look back at this week!  Are you ready?

How did your week go from a fitness standpoint? 

Let’s look at mine, then we’ll talk about yours.

Wins for the week:  I set a goal of losing 2 pounds and I did it!  In fact, I lost 3 pounds of the 5 I gained as a result of eating more than I should on Thanksgiving and one day later, on my hubby’s birthday.  The five pounds went on with just a couple of days of ‘freely eating’ but is taking me several more to get back off.  thar's usually the way it goes, isn't it!  Three pounds down and 2 to go, I am determined to not let this weight gain get out of control!  I am back down below the maximum weight range I allow myself to get too but want to get those last 2 pounds back off, so I have some ‘breathing’ room.  

Failures for the week (Acknowledging our failures is important as they can be a powerful learning tool if we let them.):   Due to a very hectic schedule that kept me out and about more than usual, I didn’t meet my daily water intake goal and I missed a couple of days of exercise as well.  Sighhhhh … I’m glad every week is not like this one has been, I would have to come up with a whole new strategy to combat it!

This week’s goals:  (1) get those last 2 pounds back off!!! (2) Try a flavored water recipe shared by a member in our private Fitness Friday Facebook group.
