  2. Those pretty ruffled ones are unique! We pass a newly built beautiful house when we are out and when we pass by I always feel sorry that the house is so lovely but they never did any landscaping there and the yard is filled with cars and semi trucks. On Friday when we went by there was a long bed of mixed daffodils and tulips of all colors along the road. They were breathtaking! It made me happy to think that some one who lives there does enjoy flowers and a pretty yard although they do not have one.

    1. Lana, to me, flowers growing in the yard makes a house seem more 'homey.'

  3. Daffys are so bright and cheerful at the end of winter. They make me smile and kind of give me a feeling that everything is going to be all right. I love them! Besides being lovely to look at and easy to grow, they seem to be the only flower/plant that the deer and squirrels don't munch on or dig up. They definitely earn their keep.

    1. I had not thought about the squirrels and deer leaving them alone, but you're right! I think I'll plant more!!
