A Question I Get Asked Often!

I'm often asked, 'what do you do with all that food?'  

My answer is, 'we eat it.'  

I don't preserve food just to hoard and never use; we eat and rotate the food I preserve.  

Most people go to the grocery store and shop for their groceries; I go to my pantry and shop from what I have on hand.  

I keep my pantry replenished by growing as much of our own food as possible and by shopping sales and loss leaders.  

Occasionally, we'll pay full price for food items but it's not very often.  This saves us so much financially, not to mention that it's better for us!

  1. Do you live in the USA? You are always posting warmer weather that what we get here in Kentucky about 45 degrees during the day.
