A New Year ... A New Planner!

Happy New Year Everyone!  I hope it brings much joy, happiness … and of course a well-stocked pantry to each of you!

I’ve alluded several times over the last few weeks to the fact that I was creating my own planner for this year and several of you have asked that I share it with you.

Keep in mind that this planner meets my needs, is printer friendly … meaning that it doesn’t require lots of ink to print and since the dates are left blank can be re-printed and used year after year.


Let’s take a look and then I’ll give you a link where you can download it if you would like:



This is my yearly goals page.  Yes, I set goals for the year!  I print one of these.




This is my monthly goals sheet and I print 12 of these, one for each month.

I use this sheet to break my yearly goals down into monthly goals.














Next, I print 52 of this weekly goal sheets.

I break down my monthly goals into weekly goals using this sheet.  I also add any weekly goals that I might have that are not on my monthly goal sheets.













And here is my daily planner sheet. I print 365 of these, one for each day of the year.  These can be printed on front and back, just be aware that you need to leave a break for the weekly and monthly goal sheets.

Let's take a closer look at this sheet.  I have a place to write in the date, an area for my daily 'to-do' list and an area for birthdays and anniversaries.  

I created a 'personal' section for things like Bible study, exercise, reading, oil pulling, cider fire, Swagbucks, etc ... things that I do everyday and can check off.  This helps keep me accountable in doing the things that are important to me personally.

Do you see my 'food journal' section?  I find that when I write down what I eat, it helps me be more aware of what I'm putting in my mouth and it helps me make better food choices.

Finally, I have a section for my 'thoughts/notes' for the day.  It can be something that happened, it can be an inspiring quote or Scripture, it can be doodling or whatever I want to put in this space.

Once everything is printed and assembled and a front and back cover has been decided upon, it's time to put it in a notebook, spiral bound it or comb bound it.

It's then ready for use!
