Blogmas 2022: 12/14/22

I got the nicest, unexpected surprise today when hubby got back from the post office ... there was a package for me from Amazon!!!

I knew I wasn't expecting anything and hadn't ordered anything, so I was curious as to what it was ...

I opened it and found the prettiest flour sack dishtowels ... look at these ... aren't they so just lovely!

Strawberries and blueberries!

Just lovely!  They're almost to lovely to use but use them I will!

There was nothing in the package to tell me who the sender was, so I don't have a clue who to thank!

Whoever the sender is ... if you're reading this, thank you!  You made my day!

After I got myself settled back down from my 'unexpected surprise' I did the caulking on the kitchen window we installed.  Tomorrow, I'll sand down the caulked areas and get the window casing ready to paint.

Can I just say again how much I appreciate whoever sent me these flour sack dishtowels, I pray God abundantly blesses you for your thoughtfulness.

Until tomorrow!

Merry Christmas from us to you!

  1. Beautiful towels!

I said I wasn't going to do any more canning before Christmas but boneless, skinless chicken breasts where on sale for 1.99# and I had a $20 off coupon for Lidl so the canners are both full and heating up right now. They had the gift card deal again that we did on Black Friday so both of us purchased $100 in gift cards and then we will both get a $20 off coupon loaded on our apps next week. We have to replace some outdoor light fixtures so we bought gift cards to cover that and get $40 of free food as a bonus with no minimum purchase.

    1. Lana, I've said the same thing about not canning anything else before Christmas, but like you if the right deal came along, I would have to rethink that decision! You got quite the deal!
