Blogmas 2022: 12/5/22

Today was errand day and while out I stopped in at my favorite craft/home decor/fabric store!  They just happened to be having a 60% of all Christmas fabrics sale ...

This cute 'Santa' fabric was regularly priced at $8.99/yard.  On sale, it was $3.60/yard ... I purchased 4 yards.  This would make an adorable backing for a Christmas quilt or could be used for lots of other things as well.  I was delighted to find it and now it is part of my fabric stash.  About the only time I buy fabric is when it's on a really good sale, otherwise, it's just too expensive for my budget!

Until tomorrow!

Merry Christmas from us to you!

  2. It would make a really cute apron. Maybe with solid red ties

  3. You are so right on the HIGH price of fabric. You got an excellent price on that cute yardage. I'm waiting for the 1\2 price off buttons sale. Buttons being another thing that has risen in price. I sometimes find them at garage sales or the thrift store, but rarely fabric.

    1. Ellie, I do the same as you with buttons. I also cut them off of worn-out clothing that is being recycled as grease rags or cleaning rags.

  4. I think I may have been at another of those craft/home decor/fabric shops recently. That fabric and the discount seems really familiar. Did they have all yarns on 30% off? If so, lace-weight crochet thread (in the middle of a bunch of yarn) was excluded, even though there was a sign on that shelf. Called them on it. Manager said to go ahead and apply the discount, he was too busy to argue or send someone back to check.
