Greenhouse Repair and Expansion: Part 7

So, what do you think of our progress so far???
We've really been working hard … here's the next installment …

Here's where we left you in the last post …

Here's a front view …

We finished installing the purlins and cut off the posts to the proper height.  (It's important that the post do not touch the greenhouse film when it's installed.)

Then it was time to put down the ground cover …
(We purchased the ground cover from Deerfield Supply in Kentucky.)

Ooops! Looks like the ground cover is too big, so hubby used this to cut it down to the right size … (We knew it was going to be too big, we purposefully purchased enough for another project!)

Hubby used it to cut and seal the ground cover all at the same time so that there would be no raveling.

Ta-da!!! We decided to call it a day at this point!

My pantry is intentional, purposeful, simple, practical, frugal and what works for my family.  It’s the food items and household supplies that keep my household running smoothly ready and available when they are needed.  It’s my contribution to our family’s economy and my work-from-home ‘job.'

  2. I knew a torch would seal the cut edge and keep it from unraveling, but I never would have been clever enough to use the torch to do the cutting, too! Your husband's ability to figure out the way to "work smarter, not harder" is pretty darned impressive.
